Feature Focus: Energy Star Module

Many Utility Manager users have found Utility Manager's optional Energy Star Module to be a fast and efficient means of uploading their energy use information for Energy Star ratings.  Energy Star is a national building efficiency rating program administered by the EPA for the purpose of encouraging and recognizing energy efficient buildings.  In order to obtain Energy Star ratings on your buildings it's first necessary to enter the building's energy use information, along with several other types of building information, into your "Portfolio Manager" account on the EPA's Energy Star website.  This can be a labor intensive manual process, especially if you have a lot of buildings to manage.

Utility Manager Pro and Server makes setting up and maintaining your Portfolio Manager account a breeze!  The Energy Star module allows Utility Manager to directly connect to your EPA account and upload the necessary data already stored within your Utility Manager database.  It also downloads your Energy Star scores and allows you to view them in a special Energy Star report from within Utility Manager.  Using Utility Manager for this purpose allows you to easily update your Energy Star ratings monthly, or at any time, without the hassle of manual data entry.
